Though Gamma Lambda arrived in Chapel Hill in the 1960's, the chapter recolonized as a Panhellenic sorority on March 1, 2008. The women of Gamma Lambda are incredibly excited to be back on the Carolina campus, and they have already gotten involved with numerous activities within the university and the community. Phi Mu is one of five corporate sponsors for Children's Miracle Network, hosting an annual free-throw shooting contest called Hoop-a-Paluza.
